FABACUS 

Data analytics company Fabacus wanted an animation showing the movement of data sets being collected for their website. 

After loving the test footage they asked if the animation could be more aligned with their process in order to use for demos and presentations as well.
This was achieved in collaboration with Fabacus staff in a storyboarding phase. 

Made in Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.

HOUSE OF HACKNEY

British luxury interiors and lifestyle brand wanted to create a promotional video for their new range of home decoration products. In these they wanted some footage of paint moving over their new Artemis and Moss wallpaper without the messy clean up.

For this I chose to use a video encoder that modulated colour as movement creating a liquid distortion, adding a sharpen and emboss effect. Rendering the full file 4152x3590ppi at 40fps meant that they could use this large file in different configurations on their website and their promo video.

Another piece I created was a title animation for their online store.
The entrance of 'London' aims to mimic the opening and closing of the double doors or window shutters of a large house. 

Displayed here slowed to half speed.

Made in after effects 

Pop-up events brand organised by Nando's needed some motion assets for their digital space. They had assets, examples given in their previous content (shown on the right). 

With these references I was able to continue the visual style for a front page banner (above) and a snazzy gif to stamp content (below).

AEIR - BODY [Lyric Video]

Desire and individuality. For this I chose to make each line of typography different from it's predecessor with the changing emotions of the song. The background texture cycles through close up photography of skin textures, highlighting imperfections that make any body unique.

Drawing comparisons with Nixon's America and today. Set within the style of early 70's advertising, the video skips channels on an old TV set, aiming to match the frenetic tempo of the song.   

Using found footage from data archives and also animating bursts of video static to decorate and emphasise lyrics on screen.

Xelavate - THE ONE 
[Lyric Video]

R&B track 'The One' has romantic elements in the original design so I focused closely on the imagery of the single's artwork. 

The reference for the lyrics was a drill video where the text flies into the middle from different directions. I've also tried here to use animated effects to illustrate words and sounds.

Clockwork Wolf & Co - Long Way To Fall
[Lyric Video]

'Long Way To Fall' was a punch packing comeback single for Blues Rock band Clockwork Wolf & Co. To symbolise this reawakening, the video places the viewer emerging from a dark forest after a storm.

In order to make the storm I used a combination of digital and practical effects using photography and ink diffusions.
